Pricing & discounts

All prices and promotional discounts are valid only for the period stated on the relevant booklist or quotation. Orders placed after the promotional deadline will be charged at the applicable price at the time of ordering.

Please check your order carefully

Before submitting your order, please check which books you already own to avoid duplicate purchases. Please ensure that you have selected the correct title, ISBN, edition, language and version prescribed by the school.

Payment & order processing

ReadMatter processes orders only once payment has been received in full and the funds have cleared in our bank account. Proof of payment alone does not constitute payment, and we do not process orders based solely on proof of payment.

Estimated delivery dates

All estimated delivery dates are calculated from the date on which full payment clears in our bank account, and not from the date of quotation or order submission.

Special-order books & returns

Most textbooks are ordered specifically for each customer once payment has been received. For this reason, we cannot accept cancellations, returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, duplicate ordering, or the incorrect title, edition, language or version being selected. This does not affect your rights regarding books that are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Availability

All books are subject to availability from the relevant publisher or supplier. Although every effort is made to fulfil orders in full, ReadMatter cannot guarantee stock availability, publisher reprint dates or the availability of imported titles. If a book becomes unavailable, we will contact you with the available options.

Delivery & collection

Please select your preferred delivery or collection option when placing your order. Delivery fees and available collection points will be displayed or communicated at the time of ordering. You will be notified once your order is ready for collection or has been dispatched.

Fulfilment times

Orders may take approximately 2-8 weeks to complete, depending on publisher availability, reprints, imported titles and seasonal demand. Orders containing books from multiple publishers or suppliers may take longer to complete.

Please order early

ReadMatter cannot predict or control publisher stock shortages, printing delays, import delays, supplier closures or courier disruptions. Orders placed late in the year may not arrive before schools close or before the new school year begins. We strongly recommend ordering as early as possible.

Checking your order on delivery

Please check the contents of your parcel against the enclosed invoice as soon as it is received. Any outstanding or back-ordered books will be indicated on the invoice and supplied once available. Any shortages, damage or discrepancies must be reported to ReadMatter within seven days of receipt.

ReadMatter respects your privacy and does not sell or share customers' personal information for third-party marketing. Where necessary to fulfil your order, we may share limited information with your school, courier, publisher or supplier. Your information will be used only for purposes connected with processing and delivering your order, unless you have separately consented to receive marketing communication.

Prices are estimates and availability is confirmed when your order is processed. Orders are processed once paid in full and cleared in our account.
